Alliance Duel
Save the right materials for the right day—and make every upgrade count twice.
Alliance Duel is sometimes called AvA or VS. Your alliance is matched against another alliance for a six-day competition, with a different scoring theme each day. The strongest players do not simply spend more: they stockpile, time their progress, and use materials only when the matching day rewards them.
One action can advance two events.
Alliance Duel determines the best day to spend. Full Preparedness helps identify the best hour. When both task lists reward the same action, time major upgrades inside the matching FP rotation for additional chests and Preparedness Medals.
What to save
Keep these materials until the day that specifically rewards their use.
Modification Blueprints
Vehicle Mod Chests
All Speedups
Refugee Tickets
Prime Recruitment Tickets
Exclusive Equipment Fragments
Blue Hero Fragments
Purple Hero Fragments
Orange Hero Fragments
Orange Skill Books
Power Cores
Enhancement Alloys
The six-day rotation
Use the live in-game task list as the final authority because scoring can change by server age or game update.
Modded Vehicle
Vehicle materials, Radar events, Boomers, and gathering
Priority actions
- Use saved Golden Wrenches and Modification Blueprints.
- Open Modded Vehicle component or exterior module chests.
- Complete and claim as many Radar events as your cap allows.
- Start or join rallies to defeat Boomers.
- Gather resources while your marches are otherwise idle.
On Sunday, complete Radar missions but leave the rewards unclaimed when your cap allows. Claim them after Monday reset.
Do not spend construction, research, training, refugee, or hero-development materials just because they are available.
Shelter Upgrade
Building power, construction speedups, orange bounties, and Refugees
Priority actions
- Claim completed buildings and increase Structure Power.
- Use saved Construction Speedups on worthwhile upgrades.
- Complete as many orange Bounty Missions as possible.
- Recruit Refugees and prioritize higher-rarity results.
- For the 500-ticket recruit option: recruit, refresh, and repeat when your ticket supply supports it.
Start long construction early enough that it finishes on Tuesday, or leave a completed building unclaimed until reset.
Do not waste Refugee Tickets on low-value refresh patterns when you cannot comfortably sustain them.
Age of Science
Technology power, Research Speedups, Badges, and orange Trade Trucks
Priority actions
- Claim completed research and increase Technology Power.
- Use saved Research Speedups on valuable technology.
- Prioritize research that consumes Badges while you have them.
- After Badges run out, continue with useful non-Badge research rather than forcing poor upgrades.
- Send four orange Intercity Trade Trucks whenever possible.
Queue a long research project before Wednesday so a strong completion is ready during the scoring window.
Do not burn Truck refreshes on lower-rarity trucks unless reset is approaching and an orange result is no longer realistic.
Hero Initiative
Recruitment, star upgrades, skills, equipment, and Exclusive Equipment
Priority actions
- Use saved Prime Recruitment Tickets first.
- Upgrade hero Star Levels with blue, purple, and orange fragments.
- Use orange Skill Books on upgrades that support your main formations.
- Use Power Cores and Enhancement Alloys to improve orange equipment.
- Upgrade eligible heroes' Exclusive Equipment.
Review your main formation before spending. Hero day rewards patience, but it should not turn into random upgrades across unused heroes.
Do not consume valuable orange equipment as promotion material merely to score unless you are certain it is disposable. Save Thursday Radar rewards for Friday.
Holistic Growth
Flexible speedups, construction, research, Radar, and troop growth
Priority actions
- Use Training Speedups and train or promote as many useful troops as possible.
- Claim Thursday's saved Radar rewards and complete additional Radar events.
- Use remaining Construction or Research Speedups when the upgrade itself is worthwhile.
- Increase Structure and Technology Power through planned completions.
- Keep all troop-training queues active throughout the day.
Prepare lower-tier troops for promotion during the week so Friday creates immediate power without leaving camps idle.
Do not empty every speedup category. Keep enough flexibility for important upgrades and the next week's rotation.
Enemy Buster
PvP kills, troop losses, healing, orange bounties, and orange Trade Trucks
Priority actions
- Shield before reset when you will be offline or unable to defend.
- Coordinate attacks with alliance leadership instead of fighting alone.
- Defeat enemy troops; troops from the matched Duel alliance are normally worth more.
- Troops lost in combat can also score, but careless losses are not efficient progress.
- Complete orange Bounty Missions and send orange Intercity Trade Trucks.
Confirm alliance and state rules, hospital capacity, shield timing, and your safe relocation plan before combat begins.
Do not drop your shield for an unplanned hit, attack cities you cannot scout safely, or fill hospitals beyond what you can recover.
Restock, prepare, and leave Radar rewards ready.
Sunday has no Alliance Duel scoring theme. Gather resources, refill training and upgrade queues, review the coming week's goals, and save vehicle materials. Complete Radar missions without claiming them when your storage cap permits so Day 1 begins with immediate Modded Vehicle points.
How to score without wasting progress
Save with a purpose
Every major material has a preferred Duel day. Delayed gratification is the core Alliance Duel skill.
Stack with Full Preparedness
Use the matching FP rotations whenever possible so one action contributes to two reward tracks.
Claim—not just complete
Some scoring actions register when the upgrade or Radar reward is claimed. Check the live task wording before clicking.
Build useful power
Points are temporary. Strong heroes, research, buildings, troops, and equipment remain after the event ends.
Stop at efficient rewards
Do not destroy a week's inventory chasing one additional chest or a leaderboard position you cannot hold.
Follow combat orders
Enemy Buster is an alliance operation. Coordination, shields, scouting, and hospital management matter more than solo aggression.
Chinatsu increases Alliance Duel points.
Chinatsu's Alliance Duel passive makes every qualifying action more valuable. If Alliance Duel performance is a priority for your account, her scoring skill is a long-term multiplier—but it should complement smart material timing, not replace it.
Use this five-second check
- 1Is this the correct Alliance Duel day?
- 2Does Full Preparedness currently match?
- 3Is this upgrade useful after the event?
- 4Can I reach the next chest efficiently?
- 5Should I keep a reserve for next week?
