Season 2 · Everfrost

Seasonal Buildings

Everfrost adds five personal seasonal buildings: Greenhouses, Bio Lab, Command Post, Icy Arsenal, and Icy Fort. The first two create your resistance engine. The final three convert that progress into seasonal combat power.

Core rule

Do not upgrade every seasonal building evenly.

Greenhouses and Bio Lab determine how quickly you gain Virus Resistance and reach stronger seasonal targets. Command Post, Icy Arsenal, and Icy Fort become much more valuable after that engine is already moving.

The progression engine

How the buildings work together

Produce

Greenhouses

Generate Icebloom passively and keep the seasonal economy moving.

Upgrade

Bio Lab

Spend Icebloom and Frost Cores to increase Virus Resistance.

Convert

Combat Buildings

Turn a strong resistance base into seasonal damage and defense.

Resource production

Greenhouses

Greenhouses produce Icebloom over time. Icebloom is required for Bio Lab and other seasonal upgrades, so weak production creates a bottleneck that slows the entire season.

Main purpose Icebloom production
Early priority Very High
Best practice
  • Build every Greenhouse available to you.
  • Keep them reasonably close in level.
  • Collect Icebloom before storage reaches capacity.
  • Upgrade production when Icebloom is blocking Bio Lab progress.

Power after progression

Command Post, Icy Arsenal, and Icy Fort are not bad early buildings—they are simply easier to mistime. Their value rises when your Virus Resistance and seasonal resource income are strong enough that combat upgrades no longer interrupt Bio Lab progression.

Damage

Command Post

Command Post provides a steady increase to seasonal troop damage and serves as the most accessible baseline combat building.

Primary effect Season Troop DMG
Best used for: General seasonal combat, early combat foundation, and accounts that want balanced value before specializing further.
Offense

Icy Arsenal

Icy Arsenal is the higher-ceiling offensive building. It becomes especially valuable for players participating in offensive rallies, city pressure, and Glory War attacks.

Primary effect Season Troop DMG
Best used for: Offensive formations, rally participation, and players whose alliance role emphasizes damage.
Defense

Icy Fort

Icy Fort improves seasonal troop defense and supports longer fights, city defense, hive protection, and defensive rally roles.

Primary effect Season Troop DEF
Best used for: Defensive players, city holders, hive anchors, and accounts expected to absorb sustained seasonal combat.
Recommended progression

A practical building order

Exact levels will vary by spending, activity, alliance needs, and Mastery choices. Use this order as a decision framework rather than a rigid command.

1
Establish every Greenhouse. Create the Icebloom income needed for the season.
2
Keep Bio Lab moving. Prioritize the next resistance breakpoint.
3
Level Greenhouses evenly. Fix production when Icebloom becomes the bottleneck.
4
Add Command Post as a combat baseline. Do this without starving Bio Lab progression.
5
Choose offense or defense. Icy Arsenal for damage; Icy Fort for durability.
04
Decision guide

What should you upgrade next?

Bio Lab is blocked by Icebloom

Upgrade Greenhouses

More passive production removes the bottleneck and supports every future seasonal upgrade.

Bio Lab is blocked by Frost Cores

Protect your cores

Prioritize Frostbane farming, rallies, and the next Bio Lab requirement before spending on optional buildings.

Resistance engine is stable

Begin combat investment

Add Command Post, then emphasize Icy Arsenal or Icy Fort according to your role.

Alliance has an active war objective

Follow the alliance plan

A timed combat need may justify temporary investment in damage or defense before your normal progression order.

!
Common mistake

Upgrading combat buildings because the button is available.

A visible damage increase can feel valuable while quietly delaying the Bio Lab level that unlocks better farming, higher resistance, and stronger long-term seasonal progress. Check the Bio Lab first.
