Season 2 · Everfrost

Mastery Guide

The Mastery system turns seasonal activity into permanent advantages for the duration of Everfrost. Support Mastery strengthens your economy, resistance, construction, and alliance utility. Combat Mastery becomes available later and shifts those points toward direct battlefield performance.

Core rule

Mastery should solve your current seasonal bottleneck.

Early Everfrost is normally limited by Mastery EXP, Icebloom, Frost Cores, and Virus Resistance—not PvP stats. Support Mastery helps your account reach the point where Combat Mastery becomes genuinely valuable.

01
How Mastery works

Season activity becomes seasonal power

Earn

Mastery EXP

Upgrade seasonal buildings, defeat enemies, complete events, and advance seasonal objectives.

Level

Mastery Hall

Each new Mastery level unlocks additional skills and grants points to spend.

Specialize

Support or Combat

Use skills to accelerate progression or prepare for alliance warfare.

02
The two paths

Support builds the season. Combat fights the wars.

Unlocks later

Combat Mastery

Combat becomes available once Mastery reaches level 30. It is designed for players whose seasonal progression is established and whose alliance needs stronger direct combat performance.

The priority skills to build around

Levels 1–10
Highest early priority

Architect's Insight + Icebloom Production

Architect's Insight increases the Mastery EXP earned from upgrading seasonal buildings. Icebloom Production improves your passive resource income. Together, they help future Mastery levels and building upgrades arrive sooner.

Why first: Both skills compound. The earlier they are taken, the more value they provide across the full season.
Level 15
Resource breakpoint

Frost Core Refinement

Frost Core Refinement increases the value of one of Everfrost's most important upgrade resources. More Cores means fewer delays between Bio Lab, Greenhouse, and other seasonal-building upgrades.

Why now: Frost Core requirements become increasingly restrictive as seasonal building levels rise.
Level 20
Resistance breakpoint

Resistance Boost

Resistance Boost adds further Virus Resistance tied to your seasonal progression. This can help unlock stronger Frostbanes and Snow Leopards without waiting for another major Bio Lab jump.

Why important: Resistance directly controls which seasonal enemies and reward tiers you can access.
Alliance support skills

Three abilities provide direct help to teammates

Most Support skills improve your own progression. These three are different: they create a direct alliance interaction or benefit that can be coordinated by leadership.

Construction Support

Select an alliance member to provide a temporary construction-speed benefit. Coordinate it around long seasonal-building upgrades for maximum value.

Shield Bond

Grants a temporary shield to a chosen alliance member. Because the cooldown is long, it should be saved for a meaningful defensive or scheduling need.

Vault Master

Deploys an Alliance Vault that teammates can raid for rewards. Announce the placement and timing so as many eligible members as possible can participate.

04
Earning Mastery EXP

Keep the Hall moving every day

Seasonal Buildings

Bio Lab, Greenhouse, and other seasonal upgrades are a major source of Mastery EXP.

Enemies & Rallies

Frostbanes, Snow Leopards, Yetis, creeps, and other seasonal combat contribute progress.

Seasonal Events

Season Journey, Influence, event objectives, and milestone rewards can add Mastery EXP.

Map & Alliance Activity

Season tiles, cities, durability damage, and coordinated alliance objectives may contribute.

The Combat decision

Unlocking Combat does not mean you should switch immediately.

Mastery level 30 gives you the option. Your account's readiness should decide whether you use it.

Stay Support Bio Lab, Greenhouses, Frost Core income, or Resistance still feel behind.
Consider Combat Your progression engine is stable and a real PvP window is approaching.
Alliance need You are a rally leader, defensive anchor, or key Glory War participant.
Reset carefully Confirm current reset rules, cost, and cooldown in game before changing paths.
05
Decision guide

Where should your next point go?

Mastery level is rising slowly

Architect's Insight

Increase the value of future seasonal-building upgrades.

Icebloom is the bottleneck

Icebloom Production

Improve the passive income that powers Bio Lab progression.

Frost Cores are the bottleneck

Frost Core Refinement

Increase Core efficiency before pushing optional combat skills.

A new enemy tier is just out of reach

Resistance Boost

Use additional resistance to cross the next seasonal threshold.

!
Common mistake

Switching to Combat because it sounds stronger.

Combat bonuses cannot replace the resource flow and resistance needed to unlock stronger seasonal content. A premature switch can make an account better in one fight while slowing its progress for days.
