Progression Roadmap
Let Your Priorities Change as Your Account Grows
F2P efficiency is not one fixed checklist. The best use of your time and materials changes as new systems unlock.

Early game
Keep Headquarters, Laboratory, troop camps, and essential requirements moving. Join an active alliance immediately and avoid tying builders up on low-impact upgrades.

Mid game
Commit to one main faction and one five-hero formation. Push troop quality, purposeful research, and the systems that shorten future construction and research.

Late game
Protect rare materials, improve orange equipment evenly, strengthen passive account bonuses, and save major upgrades for overlapping event rewards.
Queue rule: Keep construction, research, and troop training active as consistently as possible. Start long timers before sleep or work, and use shorter upgrades while you are actively checking the game.

What a strong alliance gives you

- Better event rewards from VS, rallies, and alliance activities
- Better rally participation and more efficient growth
- Experienced players who can help you avoid mistakes
If your alliance is inactive, misses events, or struggles to coordinate.. do not be afraid to move to a better one.

Development
Headquarters Should Drive Your Growth
Many newer players upgrade everything evenly. That feels safe.. but it usually wastes time and resources.
Push Headquarters
Treat your Headquarters as the center of your progression.
Meet requirements only
Upgrade other buildings mainly when they are required for the next HQ level or unlock something meaningful.
Avoid unnecessary upgrades
If a building does not improve long-term growth or help you reach the next HQ.. it can often wait.
SIN's rule: Before upgrading a building, ask yourself.. Does this help me reach my next Headquarters level or unlock something important?

Resources
Resource Management
Efficient resource management is one of the biggest differences between a strong F2P account and a wasteful one.
Keep resource items closed
Whenever possible, leave resource packs unopened and open them only when you immediately need them. Closed items cannot be stolen if your city is attacked.
Gather constantly
Try to keep gathering marches active while you are offline. Daily gathering adds up to a massive amount of resources over time.
Spend with purpose
Do not upgrade or train just because you have the resources. Tie spending to long-term account goals or event scoring windows.
Treat diamonds carefully
Diamonds are too valuable to spend impulsively. Save them for meaningful progression or event value.. not random convenience purchases.
Protect your hospital capacity
A larger Hospital gives you more room for mistakes and reduces the risk of permanent troop loss during attacks and combat events.
Open tokens at the last responsible moment
Resource items are safest while they remain in inventory. Open only what the next upgrade, research, or event action actually requires.

Heroes & Formation
Concentrate Power Before Expanding
One of the easiest ways to waste materials is by trying to build every hero, faction, and troop type at once.
Build one main formation first
- Choose one faction and develop five heroes that work together.
- Match the faction to its troop type: Blood Rose with Assaulters, Wings of Dawn with Shooters, or Guard of Order with Riders.
- Put your best equipment and skill investment into the heroes you actually deploy.
- Use secondary heroes for passive account benefits until your core formation is established.
- Do not ignore heroes whose construction, research, gathering, or roster-wide bonuses continue working outside your main march.
Expand only after the core is stable
- Do not level every newly unlocked hero immediately.
- Avoid splitting fragments and skill books across several unfinished formations.
- Replace a core hero only when the new hero creates a clear long-term improvement.
- Keep valuable passive heroes working even when they leave the active formation.
SIN's rule: One complete formation is more useful than three unfinished ones.

Diamonds are one of the few flexible currencies available to every player. That flexibility makes them easy to waste.

Before spending diamonds: Check whether the item is permanent, limited, difficult to earn for free, and directly connected to your current goal. A discount does not automatically make something valuable.

Build one five-hero faction formation first so hero skills and faction bonuses work together.

Research with a purpose
Prioritize growth, troop capacity, HP, and the research required for your next major account goal.

Prioritize Refugees that improve Alliance Help, construction, research, troop capacity, and healing. Small passive bonuses become meaningful because they apply repeatedly across months of play.

A good F2P routine is not about spending every item every day.
Do every day
- Keep builders and research moving.
- Use Gas efficiently every day.
- Complete Radar Missions and collect Refugees.
- Donate to Alliance Technology.
- Gather with idle marches.
- Join rallies and alliance events.

Alliance PvE
Tyrant and Zombie Siege offer reliable progression materials when your alliance participates consistently.
Battlefield Events
Canyon Clash and similar events can provide valuable shop currency without requiring account spending.
State Ruler
Treat State vs. State as a long-term savings target rather than an excuse to empty every inventory at once.
Do not chase every leaderboard. Milestone rewards, alliance rewards, and exchange currencies are often a better return than spending everything for a temporary rank.
