Forging Guide
Go to +2. Stop there.. unless you are prepared to finish the ride to Mythic.
Forging Stones are too scarce to spend without a plan. The five prerequisite stages look like a smooth progression, but their efficiency is not smooth at all: +2 is the strongest cumulative breakpoint, while +3 through +5 become progressively more expensive for the stats they add.
Stage +2 is where Forging Stones work hardest.
At +2, one piece has gained 30% total basic stats for 80 cumulative Forging Stones. That works out to roughly 0.375% total basic-stat gain per Stone — better than stopping at +1, +3, +4, or +5.
Why +2 beats the middle stages
The important number is cumulative return: how much total stat gain you have purchased for every Forging Stone invested to reach that point.
| Stage reached | Stone cost for step | Boost gained | Total boost | Cumulative Stones | Cumulative value / Stone |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| +1 | 30 | +10% | 10% | 30 | 0.333% |
| +2 | 50 | +20% | 30% | 80 | 0.375% |
| +3 | 100 | +20% | 50% | 180 | 0.278% |
| +4 | 200 | +25% | 75% | 380 | 0.197% |
| +5 | 300 | +25% | 100% | 680 | 0.147% |
| Mythic | 300 | +100% | 200% | 980 | 0.204%* |
*The Mythic line is not directly comparable to the five prerequisite stages because the final conversion also requires 50 Pulse Modules. The +2 rule is about the most efficient use of ordinary Forging Stones before that final commitment.
The efficient forging path
Treat +2 as the normal destination and Mythic as a separate all-in project.
Forge one piece straight to +2
Do not spread 30-stone +1 upgrades across several pieces first. A complete 0 → +2 path costs 80 Forging Stones and produces a 30% basic-stat increase, which is the strongest cumulative return per stone on the prerequisite track.
Repeat the +2 breakpoint across your main formation
Prioritize equipment that is actually worn by your first fighting formation. Once those pieces are covered, repeat the same breakpoint on gear you actively use before pushing a random piece deeper.
Park the piece at +2
If you are not preparing to complete Mythic, stop. +3, +4, and +5 consume increasingly more Forging Stones for progressively worse cumulative efficiency.
Only cross +2 with a full Mythic plan
From +2, completing +3, +4, +5, and the final Mythic conversion requires another 900 Forging Stones, 420M Electricity, and 50 Pulse Modules. Treat that as one commitment, not four casual upgrades.
Stop at +2
Use Forging Stones to build breadth across equipment that actually fights for you.
- Finish your main formation first
- Repeat +2 on additional active gear
- Do not create a collection of +3/+4/+5 half-projects
Save the whole +2 → Mythic package
Once you cross the breakpoint, plan to finish rather than stopping midway.
Forging stages have equipment prerequisites
Forging does not replace normal equipment enhancement and Power Core promotion. Later stages remain locked until the underlying piece is developed far enough.
| Target stage | Equipment level | Promotion requirement | Forging Stones | Pulse Modules |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| +1 | 20 | 1 completed star | 30 | — |
| +2 | 30 | 1 completed star | 50 | — |
| +3 | 50 | 1 completed star | 100 | — |
| +4 | 50 | 2 completed stars | 200 | — |
| +5 | 60 | 2 completed stars | 300 | — |
| Mythic | 60 | 3 completed stars | 300 | 50 |
Forging Stones are slow. Pulse Modules are the wall.
That difference is why a half-finished Mythic attempt can trap a lot of value in inefficient stages.
Earnable.. but scarce
Community references report Forging Stones from selected high-rarity Bounty rewards, Tyrant activity, Mythic events, milestone tracks, and paid offers. Exact sources change by server age and event rotation.
Strategy: spend them at breakpoints, not whenever you receive them. The final conversion bottleneck
The final Mythic conversion requires 50 Pulse Modules per piece. In the sources checked for this guide, they are tied primarily to expensive event milestones or offers rather than dependable routine free income.
Strategy: do not assume you will “find the Modules later.”Make the same Stones score twice when possible
Forging is permanent account growth. If the current event schedule also rewards it, wait for the scoring window.
Check the live task list before forging.
Alliance Duel and Full Preparedness scoring can vary with server age and game updates. Do not assume Forging Stones score on the same day as every other equipment material. Confirm the current in-game task list, then use your planned +2 or Mythic upgrade during the matching scoring window when practical.
Common forging mistakes
Most wasted Forging Stones come from progressing without deciding where the piece is supposed to stop.
Taking several pieces to +1 instead of completing the stronger 0 → +2 breakpoint.
Pushing one piece to +3, +4, or +5 without having a realistic path to the final Mythic conversion.
Spending scarce Forging Stones on equipment that is not part of your active fighting formations.
Confusing +5 with Mythic. +5 finishes the five stone stages; the final Mythic/MAX conversion is a separate step.
Ignoring the Power Core promotion and equipment-level requirements that unlock later forging stages.
Forging just because the button is available instead of checking current Alliance Duel and Full Preparedness scoring first.
+2 is a breakpoint. Mythic is a project.
Take useful orange equipment to +2 for the strongest cumulative Forging Stone efficiency. Spread that breakpoint across the gear that actually fights for you. Only push past +2 when you have deliberately chosen that piece as a Mythic target and have a realistic path to finish it.
